Our Facility
Level 3 Provider
Welcome to Agape' Learning Center! We have two different Wings of the building. Our Rainbow Wing is on the north end of the building by the office. Our infant and toddler classrooms reside here. Each room is painted a different color of the rainbow and are named accordingly.
On the south end of the building, you will find our older daycare classrooms. This area is called the Noah Wing. Older two-year olds and then ages 3 through 6 are on this end of the building as well as the children that are enrolled in our school program.
Blue Room (Infant Classroom)
This is our Blue room in the Rainbow Wing. Infants ages 6 weeks to about 12 months will be in this room.
Yellow Room (Two's Playgroup)
This is the Yellow room in the Rainbow Wing of our building. Our Two-year-old playgroup is held here.
Green Room (Toddler Classroom)
This is the Green Room in the Rainbow Wing.
Purple Room (Toddler Classroom)
This is the Purple room in the Rainbow Wing.
Orange Room (Toddler Classroom)
This is the Orange Room in our Rainbow Wing.
Infant/Toddler Playground
This is the playground for the infants and toddlers. This area is fenced in and separate from the bigger kid's playground in order to protect the younger children. This playground is also designed to encourage gross motor development for our infants and toddlers and to provide a safe place for our children to run and play.
K-3 Classroom
This is Mrs. Smith's K-3 classrooms. Children in our program begin their preschool career in K-3 learning their letters, correct letter formation, numbers, correct number formation, counting, Bible stories, and social studies through the A Beka curriculum. An important part of K-3 is learning basic skills such as walking in lines, social and emotional skills, independence and responsibility.
K-3 Classroom
This is Mrs. White's K3 classroom. K-4 Half Day Classroom
This is Mrs. Kundert's K-4 classroom. In this pre-kindergarten class, children will build on what they learned in K-3. In K-4 children will begin learning long and short vowel and consonant sounds, blending 1-2 vowel words, reading sentences and stories with 1 and 2 vowel words. They will begin writing their names and other blends and words using correct letter formations. Children will also continue their study of the Bible and continue to develop their social and emotional skills, independence and responsibility.
K-4 All Day Classroom
This is Mrs. Davis's All Day K-4 Classroom. After school is dismissed at 3:00PM, it will sometimes be used as a 4 and 5 year old daycare classroom.
K-5 Classroom
This is Miss Rogers' K-5 classroom. In our kindergarten class, children will build on what they have learned in K-3 and K-4. They will continue their language development by sounding out blends and one and two vowel words and words with special sounds. They will read sentences and stories with one and two vowel words. They will continue their study of science, math and social studies. They will also continue their study of the Bible with memory verses and songs.
Cafeteria
Older children eat their lunch in the Cafeteria.
Gym
This is our gym where we have P.E. and gross motor time when the weather prevents us from going outdoors. We use the blue dividers so that more classes can use the gym as needed.
Room 13 (Pond Room) - 2 1/2 to 3 year old classroom
This is the Pond Room. Children 2 1/2 to 3 year olds will be in this classroom!
Room 14 ( The Oceans) - 3 and 4 year old classroom
This is one of our 3 and 4 year old day care classrooms!
Room 16 ( The Forest) - 4 and 5 year old daycare classroom
This is the day care classroom for our 4 and 5 year olds. It includes learning centers such as sand table, art center, science center, music and movement, blocks, dramatic play, and books.
Playground
This is the playground for the children 3 years old and up. We believe that gross motor time is valuable for children. Running and getting playtime outside is important and we will do this every day unless it is raining, snowing or below 25 degrees. Our playground is located in the back of the building and completely fenced in.
